Vice President's Key Message

Dear Valued Readers, 

This year has been full of exciting milestones, all thanks to our strong partnerships and shared commitment to innovation across the GAS business. Together, we have laid solid foundations that position us well for the remainder of the year, and I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you.

On 26^th August 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished delegation aboard our LNG Carrier, Seri Ayu, at the Bintulu LNG Terminal. The visit included leaders from PETRONAS and the Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG) which provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen our collaboration and reaffirm our shared vision for the future. It was a great reminder of how critical these partnerships are to mutual success within the LNG industry.

Our annual MISC Group Appreciation Reception in Tokyo, Japan on 6^th September 2024, once again brought together over 150 representatives from terminal operators, service providers, and business partners. This cherished event celebrates the deep relationships we have nurtured over the years with our Japanese stakeholders. The evening was a meaningful reflection of the trust, collaboration, and shared achievements that have been pivotal to our success in the maritime industry. Together, we look forward to continuing our journey of growth and excellence.

On 26^th September 2024, we celebrated World Maritime Day 2024 with the theme “Navigating the Future: Safety First”. This resonates deeply not only with my personal beliefs but also with our shared commitment at MISC to prioritising the safety and well-being of our people, assets, and the environment. As we continue to innovate and drive sustainability, we must always keep safety at the forefront.

I want to personally thank all of you, whether you are onboard our vessels, working in the offices, or supporting us from the shore. Your dedication to upholding the highest standards of safety allows us to carry out our operations successfully, every day.

Looking ahead, we remain focused on delivering exceptional value to our partners and embracing new opportunities together. Thank you for your continued trust and support as we move forward, building a legacy of success. I am eager to see what we will achieve next, together.
