As we embrace Eid al-Fitr, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes to our Muslim readers and all those celebrating this festive season. May this festive period be filled with happiness, peace, and blessings for you and your loved ones. This season is a time to appreciate our blessings, share happiness, and embrace new beginnings. 

On 28 February 2025, we achieved a significant milestone when we secured long-term contracts for two Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLECs) with Thailand’s PTT Public Company Limited (PTT). 

This milestone marks a strategic step forward in strengthening our portfolio and revenue resilience. The two state-of-the-art VLECs, to be built by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and chartered to PTT for a firm period of 15 years starting from the fourth quarter of 2028. By diversifying into this sector, we are not only expanding our global presence but also ensuring a more robust and sustainable revenue stream, aligning MISC’s long-term ambition of delivering progress through innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
